The "Better Late Than Never" Start To 2026 Update!

Hello everyone!

Jeremy here from the Card Clerk team. This post will be a departure from our usual writing that is focused on the TCG market and detailed content, which we are already working on new topics we are interested and passionate about! I wanted to put a little update to show what we have been up to here at Card Clerk.

2025 (and the first 2 months of 2026) has been an incredible time for Card Clerk. We have been hard at work improving our product and working with stores to deliver a tool that is focused on the plethora of headaches in running a collectible card store. I won't bore you with the little details like our databases and recognition systems, but instead tell you about what the results are!

In the past 2 and a half months we have added 2 new catalogues to our scanning capabilities, Star Wars: Unlimited and One Piece TCG are now available for users. We are planning on keeping up our rapid pace of adding new TCGs with Flesh and Blood, Lorcana, Riftbound over the next few months, and more on the near horizon! When we add new card games to our system we make sure to take the time to understand the edge cases (like that 3rd art variation for a super rare card that costs 10 times the price), implementing the pricing information, and ensuring that we can continue to work with all the store inventory solutions we can.

In addition to new TCGs, we are hard at work on different ways to scan cards in. Card Clerk's primary goal is a "barcode" scanner for collectible cards, but we are also working with stores on unique ways to interface with customers. Such as a customer kiosk, where customers can scan in their collections and send the full list or cards to the front desk employees. Or a system to use Card Clerk even with poor wifi, or even offline, like an old building (or terrible convention wifi!).

We have all that and much more on the go, and we can't wait to show it off! I hope 2026 shapes up to be as exciting for everyone as it has already been for us, and we will get back to the regularly scheduled informative blog posts soon!

Cheers, Jeremy.
