Where It All Began

It all started with one of our founders working the front lines at a local game store, immersed in inventory, community events, and the daily grind of managing Magic: The Gathering singles.

The excitement was real, but so were the inefficiencies. Sorting, pricing, tracking—it was clear there had to be a better way.

From Frustration to Innovation

Both founders saw the same opportunity: to engineer a smarter solution for TCG inventory pain points.

So we hit the ground running, talking to game store owners, industry leaders, and sellers of all sizes. What we heard was unanimous: the struggle to stay organized and keep up with an ever-growing catalog of cards was nearly universal.

Jeremy

Jeremy is an electrical engineer turned business lead. He loves talking to business owners, hobbyists, and experts about everything to do with tech and TCGs. One half of Card Clerk's founding team, his role is focused on translating the technical cogs of Card Clerk into a useful tool for growing businesses.

Aren

Aren brings together a lifelong love of card games and a deep background in software and IT development. After years spent wrestling with inventory systems and building community from the ground up, he realized he could put his computer engineering skills to work solving the challenges trading card businesses face every day.
